The Dubrovnik Airport

Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is located in Cilipi, a city roughly 14 miles southeast of Dubrovnik.  It is currently a relatively small airport but big plans for expansion should triple the size of the airport by the year 2011.   This expansion currently includes a new 392,883 sq ft terminal being constructed, which will have a projected annual capacity of 3.5 million passengers. Further expansion is planned after the year 2011 as well, which will further increase the projected annual capacity to 5.5 million passengers.  Keep in mind construction may be underway at the time of your visit due to these circumstances.

Dubrovnik Airport Facilities

Facilities at the Dubrovnik Airport include currency exchange, both ATMs and banks.  Small shops for souvenir purchases or anything for your traveling needs.  Refreshments are available at coffee shops and snack bars.  VIP and business lounges for any traveler on the go.  A unique feature the Dubrovnik Airport includes its gardens which won a local tourism award in 2006.  These gardens are an excellent place to spend time between flights just re-gather after a long flight.

The Dubrovnik Airport offers one parking lot with 200 parking spaces.  Parking is free for the first 15 minutes.  Any time beyond that will increase at rates of 5 Kuna (1 USD) for every two hours.
