The Dubrovnik Airport
Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is located in Cilipi, a city roughly 14 miles southeast of Dubrovnik. It is currently a relatively small airport but big plans for expansion should triple the size of the airport by the year 2011. This expansion currently includes a new 392,883 sq ft terminal being constructed, which will have a projected annual capacity of 3.5 million passengers. Further expansion is planned after the year 2011 as well, which will further increase the projected annual capacity to 5.5 million passengers. Keep in mind construction may be underway at the time of your visit due to these circumstances.
